The territory is currently in a seven-day lockdown, after an initial case — a man in his 20s — was reported on Thursday. Canberrans have been turning out en masse for testing again today, with the Weston Creek Testing Clinic experiencing such high demand and long wait times that ACT Health encouraged people to go to other testing locations., including the Lennock Jaguar Land Rover car dealership and the Club Lime at Bonner House in Phillip.
New locations considered to be casual contact exposure sites include Coles at Amaroo, the Abode Hotel in Kingston, the Southern Cross Club Stadium in Greenway, and the Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School in Nicholls.More to come.
