The RSPCA's ACT branch issues an appeal for information after multiple reported cases of animal cruelty in Canberra's north.
The RSPCA has appealed for information after the testicles of two cats in Canberra 's north were tied using rubber bands.
"We are aware of two separate incidents where male cats' testicles have been very tightly bound at the base with rubber bands,'' Ms Robertson said.One affected cat was surrendered at the RSPCA's ACT shelter in late August and treated by veterinarians. "It's just very concerning to us that there are two separate incidents with a very similar gruesome situation," Ms Robertson said.RSPCA ACT chief executive Michelle Robertson said the motive for the injuries being inflicted on the cats wasn't known.Ms Robertson said the RSPCA was still investigating the potential motive for the injuries being inflicted on the cats.
