Actors portrayed local historical figures in the Park Ridge Historical Society's 'Spirits of Old Park Ridge' cemetery tour Sept. 23,2023.

The tour afforded attendees an appreciation of the early settlers, past mayors, business leaders, soldiers, teachers and a professional baseball player who contributed to Park Ridge’s timeline.The attendance was estimated at between 100 to 150 people, said Cheryl Williams of Park Ridge, president of the Park Ridge Historical Society.Fifteen stops were on the tour.
Lauren Maloney of Park Ridge and her spouse, Park Ridge Mayor Marty Maloney, were among tour attendees. Jason Krause, 14, of Park Ridge and a freshman at Maine South High School, portrays Frank Claire during the “Spirits of Old Park Ridge” Cemetery Walk on Sept. 23, 2023 in Town of Maine Cemetery in Park Ridge.
