An Adelaide father has been accused of using his newborn baby’s pram to hide stolen goods.
A worker, who wished to stay anonymous, confronted the thief, and told 7NEWS he was disappointed by the act.7NEWSThe worker said his store was seeing increasing numbers of similar attempted alleged thefts as rising cost of living pressures continue to bite.“In the last three months we’ve seen it double if not triple in the amount of stolen and lost goods.“
“He just strolled in as though he owned the place and walked out casually, closing the gate behind him,” the worker said. There’s also been a 16 per cent increase in robberies from cars, and a 7 per cent increase in all other robberies.
