Police and emergency services have blocked off the scene on Barton Street in Hawthorn.
AFL coach Michael Voss has been involved in a dramatic citizen's arrest after a car flipped onto its side in Melbourne.9News understands the two teenagers have been arrested following the incident.Michael Voss is believed to have tackled one of the offenders.
Voss, who is the current coach of Carlton and was a triple premiership captain with the Brisbane Lions, is believed to have tackled one of the offenders after witnessing the crash while picking up his morning coffee at the Barton Milk Bar. "It was a bit of action... I was hoping to be on a couple of days break but it's all good here," Voss told 9News. The incident unfolded in front of a crowd of onlookers and schoolchildren walking along the busy street."I was driving and found a car on its side as I was driving past which was unusual," he told 9News.
"The police turned up and I saw them arresting a young kid not sure what was going on, but a big knife.Williams said he believed Voss had "chased and tackled" the offender to the ground.
