The AFP has confirmed it is investigating nine complaints of the alleged public display of prohibited symbols in Victoria after Hezbollah flags were flown at a rally in Melbourne.

The AFP said three of the complaints were provided by Victoria Police while four came from the Report of Crime portal and one through the National Security Hotline.
