Winless after three starts a year ago, Biographer has turned his fortunes around much to the delight of trainer Ron Quinton.
For a horse that was doing things ‘upside down’ less than 12 months ago, Biographer has done a tidy job of turning his fortunes around much to the delight of trainer Ron Quinton.
“If you can switch them off and get them to relax they can show dash but if they do it upside down they’re not nearly as effective.Biographer has won three of his five starts this preparation, kicking off with a maiden win at Gosford, and graduated to city company with an all the way win at Kensington over 1000m three weeks ago.
“He showed at his last Gosford win that he has a good turn of foot and he wasn’t ridden in that fashion last time,” Quinton said. Stablemate Smart Little Miss is finding wins hard to come by, but Quinton can’t fault her consistency.
