Disney+ has revealed the viewership numbers for the series debut of Lucasfilm's newest Star Wars series Ahsoka.
last August 22, Disney+ announced that Lucasfilm’s newest Star Wars series has officially became the most-watched title on the streamer this past week. The first episode, “Master and Apprentice,” has already received 14 million views.
In a statement, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy shared her reaction towards Ahsoka’s viewership achieving by thanking all the fans who supported the show. “Ahsoka has become a fan favorite with people of all ages and it’s wonderful to see her continue to resonate with viewers in her very own headlining series,” Kennedy said.
In addition, Temuera Morrison has also reportedly joined the series to portray the live-action version of Captain Rex. Hayden Christensen is also expected to return as Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano’s Jedi master in The Clone Wars series.is written and executive produced by Dave Filoni, best known for his work on fan-favorite Star Wars animated shows The Clone Wars and Rebels.
