The Ahsoka Disney+ TV show features an all-star cast bringing some classic Star Wars characters to live-action for the first time. The latest Star Wars TV series set during The Mandalorian era, Ahsoka tells the ongoing story of Anakin Skywalker's Padawan several years after the fall of the Empire.
Despite being voiced by Ashley Eckstein in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and Tales of the Jedi, the character of Ahsoka is played by Rosario Dawson in live-action. Dawson is best known for playing Claire Temple in the Marvel Netflix TV shows, but has now made the jump to Star Wars. She's clearly having the time of her life, and has been complimented on her commitment to fight choreography.Natasha Liu Bordizzo - Sabine Wren The secondary protagonist of Ahsoka is Sabine Wren.
Ezra was initially voiced by Taylor Gray for Rebels, with the recasting of Eman Esfandi for Ahsoka following suit for the other animated characters. Esfandi is a relatively unknown actor, best known for his credits in Robert Rodriguez's Red 11, as well as a minor role in King Richard. He also appeared in the drama series The Inspection as the character of Ismail. Ahsoka marks Esfandi's first appearance in Star Wars, bringing beloved thief-turned-Jedi Ezra Bridger to life.
Ray Stevenson - Baylan One of the more mysterious characters in Ahsoka is Baylan, a mysterious Order 66 survivor who has become a mercenary and is now working for the Empire. Baylan is played by the late Ray Stevenson, who previously worked for Star Wars as the voice of Mandalorian leader Gar Saxon in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
Hayden Christensen, the actor who played Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, is confirmed to reprise his role for Ahsoka. Despite Matt Lanter voicing the version of Anakin seen in The Clone Wars, Christensen's return as the character will likely see him and Ahsoka interacting in live-action for the first time.
Diana Lee Inosanto - Lady Morgan Elsbeth Lady Morgan Elsbeth is another returning Star Wars character. Elsbeth first appeared in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 5 as the Imperial Magistrate on the planet Corvus. Ahsoka was shown to directly oppose Elsbeth in The Mandalorian, with the Jedi besting her in a duel before demanding the location of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Elsbeth was positioned as one of Thrawn's lackeys, explaining her return in Ahsoka.
