There are unconfirmed reports of the male being attacked in an 'attempted carjacking' in Longsight Park
An air ambulance landed in Bolton on Sunday afternoon amid reports of a stabbing. Emergency services swarmed to Longsight Park, in the Harwood area following the incident, at around 2.30pm.
Police helicopters circled overhead around the area throughout Sunday afternoon. It is not yet known if any arrests have been made in relation to the incident. "I went out to the scene myself," Councillor Dean said. "I had been contacted by multiple people about all the police helicopters in the area. I believe it was an attempted carjacking and a man was stabbed but that his injuries are not thought to be serious."
