Two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson and an air ambulance attended the road traffic collision on Greenhead Lane
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to Greenhead Lane in the Reedley area at around 9.42am today . It followed reports of a crash involving two vehicles.
Two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson worked to make the scene safe and three casualties were assessed by North West Ambulance Service . One patient was taken to hospital with leg injuries.Fire crews remained at the scene for around one hour. No arrests have been reported. NWAS told LancsLive: "We were called at 09:42 to a RTC involving 2 vehicles. We sent various resources including an air ambulance.In a statement, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 09:40 on 20 October, two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended a road traffic collision on Greenhead Lane, Reedley, Burnley. The incident involved two vehicles.
"Firefighters worked to make the scene safe. Three casualties were assessed by North West Ambulance Service before being transferred to the hospital. Crews were in attendance for an hour."
