Genevieve Pascolla slammed United Airlines for their response to the situation on the flight from London to Chicago.

A woman has hit out after allegedly being laughed at by cabin crew when she told them she believed a male passenger was performing a sex act next to her on a flight. Genevieve Pascolla was sleeping on the flight from London to Chicago on June 4 when she claims she woke up to find him appearing to pleasure himself under a blanket.

Genevieve wrote on social media: "They then started making jokes about the situation asking 'what perfume are you wearing' and excusing him saying 'he’s had a bit of wine'. No one stopped him. It adds: "I apologise for the uncomfortable situation you experienced. I appreciate that you chose United for your travel. We hope your next trip with us will be a more positive experience."

Maddie King, a United Airlines spokesperson, told BuzzFeed News in a statement that the "inappropriate and offensive conduct like this" is exceedingly rare on their aircraft.
