Smith had six catches for 94 yards to go along with two receiving touchdowns and two interceptions on defense.
Golden Valley’s defense was tough throughout the night, creating five turnovers including four interceptions. The defense also had four sacks of Hart quarterback Timmy Larkins. Smith was also tasked throughout the night with guarding Hart’s top receiver Shawn Irwin who was held to three receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown that was scored in the final seconds when the game was out of reach.
