The lone Australian woman left in the Wimbledon draw reaches the third round with a 6-2, 6-2 win over American Catherine Harrison.
Ajla Tomljanovic has kept the Australian women's tilt alive at Wimbledon, winning through to the third round in straight sets.defending champion Ash Barty's shock retirement in MarchTomljanovic is ranked 44th in the world, far above Harrison's 262, and the match played out that way.The first set was more of a contest, with the third game including 10 deuces, but it appeared Harrison ran out of steam by the end.
The Croatian-born Tomljanovic is backing up her career-best quarter-final performance at Wimbledon last year. Her next match will be a showdown with either 13th seed Barbora Krejcikova or Swiss Viktorija Golubic.
