An Alabama man convicted of murder as a juvenile failed to appear in court Monday to answer a rape charge, leading a Houston County judge to issue a warrant for his arrest and list him as a fugitive.
Ralph Coleman, 22, of Dothan, missed his Monday court date before Houston County Judge Kevin Moulton, reportedColeman, who was convicted as a juvenile for a 2016 homicide in Dothan, allegedly raped a 19-year-old woman at a Dothan motel in April 2022, the network reported.The Dothan man also ran from the law when police sought to arrest him shortly after the rape.Anyone with knowledge of Coleman’s whereabouts was urged to call authorities.
