The Prime Minister agreed the comments about Peter Dutton's appearance were unacceptable as he urged politicians to show respect.
Speaking with Sky News Australia’s Peter Stefanovic on Thursday, the Prime Minister agreed the comments were"unacceptable".“I had a whole show on Sky where my appearance seemed to be the punchline from the former Prime Minister you might recall.

Picture: Lachie Millard "Well, I think there will be a lot of children who have watched a lot of Harry Potter films who will be very frightened of what they will see at night, that's for sure," she said."I am saying he looks a bit like Voldemort and we will see whether he can do what he promised he would do when he was last running for leader, which is smile more."
Ms Plibersek has contacted the former defence minister to apologise for her comments, according to 2GB Radio host Ben Fordham.The remarks came after Mr Dutton faced blistering attacks from high-profile Labor premiers after his bid for the leader of the Opposition was revealed.
