Despite promising to ban the lucrative trade of live sheep exports, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says there are no plans to do so during this term of government.
But speaking to ABC Radio Perth on Friday Mr Albanese said a timeframe could not be put on it due to the number of consultations required.
"We haven't put a timeframe on that because we want to make sure that we consult with farmers and work it through in a cooperative way to make sure we get a win-win situation."
