The Albanese government is in no doubt hoping to shame the new parliament into legislating it’s 43 per cent emissions cut by 2030, Sky News host Peta Credlin says.
“Critics will certainly be portrayed as standing in the way of progress, exposing future generations to a climate emergency, denying investment certainty to business, and standing in the way of the government’s mandate,” Ms Credlin said. “Even though the latest reports have the government appeasing the Greens by making 43 per cent the minimum cut, rather than the maximum or ceiling, on this target.”
