Former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says the Albanese government just want to “force it through” as the Voice to Parliament stacks up to be the most expensive referendum to date.
“The answer’s no, but of course the extra 250 million, you could easily run some conventions, which is the way you should properly run a referendum but all of
that is being ignored by this government because they just want to force it through because it’s Albanese’s undertaking,” Ms Bishop told Sky News host Paul Murray.
