Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the Opposition will oppose the censure motion towards former prime minister Scott Morrison as the Albanese government is looking to get some “political mileage” from the situation.
“Anthony Albanese also says there’s an important point here in terms of the contempt that Scott Morrison, the former PM, showed the parliament by not declaring his secret ministries,” Mr Clennell said.
“It will be the leader of government business in the house, Tony Burke, who will move this, not the Prime Minister but it will be in the Parliament tomorrow morning.”
