Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is seeking to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron to “reset” a critical relationship with France.
Mr Albanese said it was important for himself and Mr Macron to develop a “cordial” relationship without obstacles – announcing a settlement with France’s Naval
Group after the Coalition reneged on a submarine deal.“France is a key partner for Australia, we share those historical ties going back to the first world war.”
