Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has expressed his 'anger and concern' to his Israeli counterpart after the death of an Australian aid worker alongside six colleagues.
Anthony Albanese tells Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu Australians are 'outraged' after death of aid worker Zomi Frankcom and made clear a 'thorough' probe is required
Reports have emerged the armoured cars, which clearly had the World Central Kitchen charity logo on top of it, had been granted permission to drive along a pre-approved route in the warzone that had been coordinated with Israel's Defence Forces. Mr Albanese confirmed the phone call where Mr Netanyahu expressed his condolences to the family of Ms Frankcom.
Mr Netanyahu committed to"full transparency", Mr Albanese said, adding Australia's view is humanitarian aid reaches displaced Palestinians in war-torn Gaza.
