Sky News host Cory Bernardi says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is trying to paint Peter Dutton as the “bogeyman” for the Aston by-election.
“This is politics 101 … you’ve got the Prime Minister conditioning his caucus that governments normally have a five or six per cent swing against them and
anything less than that is basically a victory for Albo, and he’s trying to paint Peter Dutton as the bogeyman,” Mr Bernardi told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
