Mr Clennell said the Prime Minister however did accept responsibility for bringing on the referendum in light of the Voice’s heavy defeat. “We know that referendums are hard, that’s why only eight of 45 have passed … and I certainly accept responsibility for the decisions that I have taken," Mr Albanese said.
