On the final day of the Prime Minister's four-day visit to Beijing and Shanghai, China announced a formal end to the deep freeze.US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping are also expected to meet on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation as Mr Albanese hopes to continue thawing trade relationships.
Mr Albanese’s second leg in the Cook Islands will be with the Pacific Islands Forum to discuss geo-strategic competition against China.
