For those of you ready to binge Hallmark holiday movies RTFN while sipping a glass of your fave red—you’re gonna want to sit down for this news. Okay, ready? Aldi announced today that its über-popular wine advent calendar will be returning to U.S. stores this year!!! AND and aaand, you can buy it starting Next! Freaking! Month!
If you have no idea what I’m referring to , Aldi sells an advent calendar called the Festive Collection Wine Advent Calendar for $69.99. It’s full of 24 mini bottles of red, white, rosé, and bubbly wine. It previously was only available in the UK but it blessedly made its way stateside in 2018 to huge demand and excitement from, well, pretty much everybody.
Although you’ll probably want to wait until December to crack this guy open , you can pick it up at your local Aldi starting November 6. Oh, that’s another thing I can mention. Certain states don’t allow the sale of alcohol at grocery stores, so you’ll want to call ahead to see if your local Aldi carries it.
In addition to this traditional wine advent calendar, there is also one that counts down to New Year’s from Christmas and features seven mini bottles of sparkling wine. This will retail for $25 and will be available in December. So essentially, you can have a bottle of wine every day for a month. The dream.
Now, if you’re still just trying to celebrate spooky szn, there’s also a Halloween advent calendar for you. I know, I know, rushing through the best time of the year is super annoying—but whether you’re gearing up for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or the holidays, there is an advent calendar for you!
