Eagle-eyed Aldi shoppers have noticed a "brilliant" joke in its Christmas advert for this year about its infamous battle with Marks and Spencer.
In Aldi's Christmas advert, which was released earlier this week, Kevin the Carrot is all alone at home and decides to watch a game of football on TV, the Mirror reports. People were quick to spot the cheeky detail and flocked to social media to say how impressed they were. One commenter asked: "Hang on is that Cuthburt v Colin?" adding a laughing emoji, and another replied: "OMG - yes it is!! Totally missed that."
