Alex Zane confirms split from wife Nettie – just five months after wedding celebration
Presenter Alex Zane has split from his artist wife Nettie Wakefield just five months after they celebrated their wedding.
Alex, who has hosted Popworld and Rude Tube, said in a statement posted to his Instagram: “After five years together, at the end of last year we decided to separate. “Our friends and family have been very supportive through this period, and we appreciate all the help we’ve received. The pair got engaged in 2018 after a whirlwind year-long romance. During their nuptials in August in North London, Alex wore a black three-piece suit, whilst Nettie opted for a gorgeous white halter neck gown and veil.And posting snaps from the celebrations, Alex shared: "So @nettiedraws and I finally had the Wedding we planned to do back in 2020 on Saturday, in sunny North London.
