All the latest injury news as Liverpool prepare for their first European outing of the season against LASK
Liverpool ensured they made a winning return to the Premier League on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Molineux.
On Saturday, though, the Reds were still without Trent Alexander-Arnold and Thiago Alcantara, with the duo having not trained with the rest of the squad prior to the trip to the West Midlands.Trent Alexander-Arnold Alexander-Arnold is currently nursing a minor hamstring injury which he sustained in the closing stages of the Reds' 3-0 victory over Aston Villa last month.
"He didn't train with the team once yet and will take a little bit. It is not the worst hamstring injury, but it's a hamstring injury, and they barely heal in two weeks," Klopp told reporters on September 15. "He is running already; we hope he can start ball work early next week." However, on Friday the Reds boss revealed that Thiago was only running at the AXA Centre and was in fact not carrying out any ball work individually or with the rest of the squad.Expected return date: Unknown
