One month on from the controversial Alice Springs youth curfew, local leaders say there's been little action on long-term measures to address issues in the town, and even less consultation with services at the coalface.

Alice Springs Aboriginal leaders say they've seen little progress on long-term measures to tackle issues in the town, one month after the end of a three-week youth curfew .

The curfew barred young people from entering the CBD from 6pm to 6am each day unless they had a "valid reason".Alice Springs Aboriginal leaders say while the "circuit-breaker" has boosted the town's police presence, the community won't see real change until the drivers of crime are effectively addressed.

"Let's not wait for massive budget commitments. Let's start using the resources that we have now and thinking differently." Ms Lawler said her government was delivering projects and programs aimed at creating generational change, including investments in remote housing and education.
