A frustrated Alice Springs business owner has hit back at Today presenter Brooke Boney when she quizzed him about 'extreme views' against Indigenous youths amid the town's crime crisis.

"Because some of them comments are actually coming from indigenous people that live in this town.

"These kids, like every single kid that just walks around here - they're spoiling Alice Springs," one tells Ms Boney."It makes me feel like Aboriginals are the bad guys to be honest." The report has paved the way for local decision-making processes to be reinstated, including community-based bans and local alcohol managements plans.

She said dry zones will remain in place across Central Australia until alcohol management plans can be developed by each community.
