The Boys is based on the popular comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, and Gen V introduces a younger group of characters to the show's live-action universe.
14 Rufus Taking a major leap quickly, Rufus comes in next on the Gen V ranking. Another student at Godolkin University, Rufus is played by Supernatural's Alexander Calvert. He possesses psychic abilities that allow him to enter people's minds, and to a certain degree, control them. Rufus can also form psychic links through objects.
11 Maverick Maverick is a legacy Supe currently attending God U. His father, Translucent, was a member of The Boys' superhero team The Seven and was promptly killed in season 1. Maverick shares the same powers as Translucent, as he has carbon skin that grants him the ability to become invisible and super durability. As Translucent proved, these powers can make a high-performing Supe good enough to be granted a spot on Vought's premier super-team.
7 Cate Dunlap Gen V's Cate Dunlap possesses mind control powers, one of the strongest gifts in Gen V. These grant her an always active ability to force people to obey her commands when touched. Cate's abilities, combined with her training and experience, make her an extremely powerful opponent. She's easily capable of persuading others to fight for her or put themselves in dangerous situations, as she demonstrates in Gen V.
Marie is also highly intelligent and determined to become a hero and prove to the world and her estranged sister that her power can be heroic, not just horrific. The blood she manipulates can become sharp weapons capable of tearing people apart, lassoing others who try to escape, and also expand within someone's body to the point that it explodes. It doesn't look like Marie has found the limits of her powers yet, but she has certainly earned a high place on this ranking.
