ScotRail took to X, formerly Twitter, to inform passengers of the issue. Engineers are on site and are investigating the fault.
Disgruntled passengers commented with one saying: "Can't lie, communication on this train hasn't happened, only knew about this from a twitter notification."Another added: "Same. 15mins late and we have not been told a thing. Currently sitting just outside central."
