All travellers arriving in New South Wales from Melbourne must now self-isolate for two weeks.
Anyone who arrived in NSW from Melbourne after Tuesday, July 7 will only be allowed out of isolation once they have tested negative to the virus.
The regulation is set to impact tens of thousands of people, many who fleed Melbourne as the lockdown was enforced. More than 125,000 permits have so far been issued for travellers wanting to cross the border into NSW.
