All the stars who showed solidarity with Ukraine during the Oscars 2022 ceremony.
guests often get political and use their huge platform and reach to campaign for an important cause, and this year it’s no different. Celebrities took the opportunity to show solidarity to Ukrainian people being displaced and seeking refuge due to the current Russian invasion of the Eastern European nation.
Celebrities have been spotted wearing pins and pocket squares with the blue and yellow Ukraine flag colours and blue looped ribbons with the hashtag #withrefugees on the side. The ribbons are being distributed by the UN Refugee Agency and an image was shared by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees - UNHCR.Anadil Hossain, who is the Principal Communications Advisor for the UNHCR, put the initiative together with Social Impact Strategist Bonnie Abaunza.
