Since Roy’s sister, as a single mother, works long hours in the ER, he often steps in as her caretaker. To Phoebe, a pretty astute kid, he’s somewhere between a father figure and a superhero. Well aware of his influence on her, Roy is often put in the uncomfortable position of being a good role model. He can’t stop swearing around her, though.
