A man who had an AVO taken out against him by police has spoken out in defence of his actions after he was accused of trespassing at Channel 7 headquarters.

Police were called to Central Avenue in Eveleigh at about 11:15am last Thursday after Geelong man Rodney Pearce, 52, allegedly gained entry into the network's building and got into a lift, before demanding to see the host of The Morning Show. Approached by reporters at his Corio public housing unit in Geelong on Wednesday, Mr Pearce claimed he"didn't do anything wrong", according to the Geelong Advertiser.When he was asked if he had any apologies for the Gold Logie winner he responded"Up yours" jokingly, adding"Nah, he's my friend".
