Police are investigating the death of a man who was killed in a fight, after earlier reports he had been trespassing in the front yard of a neighbouring property.The woman's male partner confronted the man and followed him into another streetVictoria Police said a woman made a report to police that a man was acting suspiciously in her front yard on Gladstone Road in Dandenong North, just before 5:00am on Monday.
Police said the woman's male partner confronted the man, before following him around the corner into Carlton Road, where there was a fight.The resident was also taken to hospital for treatment.Neighbour Tram Nguyen, who lives on Carlton Road, said she did not witness the fight.She said she was worried about what had happened"but I can't do anything, I don't know clearly about what has happened".
Another neighbour, Stuart, who did not want to give his surname, said he had been aware of the fight earlier in the morning."I let the police and ambulance do what they have to."
