It's the second successive season the teams have faced each other at the exact same stage of the competition.

Last August, Giovanni van Bronckhorst masterminded victory for the Ibrox club thanks to a goal from Antonio Colak in The Netherlands. His strike saw the Light Blues through to their first group stage of UEFA's elite tournament for the first time in 12 years.

While the prize of winning remains the same 12 months on, McCoist admits he expects a 'different' PSV side, with the Eredivisie outfit looking more threatening in forward areas than previously.READ MORE:He told TNT Sports:"It's a really difficult task. I'll tell you why; I watched the game last night and I thought Rangers deserved to go through.

"They knocked PSV out this time last year but I just think it's a different PSV this time. They look stronger, they look quicker, and more of a goal threat. It's a big ask, but it's certainly not beyond Rangers that's for sure." The Insider newsletter is the latest move by the team at the Rangers Review to bring content directly to you.
