Amazing Race stars fume at ‘blatant lie’ AmazingRace
The footy mates had dominated this season of Ten’s adventure-based reality show, winning eight out of 10 legs of the race and forming a tight alliance with siblings Viv and Joey and married couple Jasmine and Jerome.
In the end, they were mere minutes behind the others at the finish line, making for this season’s most awkward scene: Host Beau Ryan telling the boys they’d lost out on the chance to win $250k while the contestants who orchestrated their downfall watched on.The usually chipper duo refused to even look at or speak to their former alliance members, several of whom were in tears.

I have grave doubts about the motivations of activists in this field, and worry that these refugees have been talked into a tactic here that might prevent them going to the US and leave them in a detention or in limbo,” he said.\n\n“I have seen these activists at work, they tell lies and play political games rather than simply try to look after the best interests of refugees.\n\n“So imagine that, people who have the promise of a new life in the US, surely the golden ticket for asylum seekers, somehow then convinced into ticking the right boxes to come to Australia for medical treatment, and therefore remaining officially in detention, with uncertain futures.'\n
