A fan artist has imagined what Felicity Jones' Black Cat would look like if she returned in a potential resurrection of the scrapped sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Speculations about a third Amazing Spider-Man movie have been resurrected after Andrew Garfield reprised the role of Peter Parker in a special appearance in the recent Marvel Cinematic Universe film and box office smash Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The character of Felicia Hardy was played by Felicity Jones in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which came out in 2014. She has a small role in the film as the new assistant to Harry Osborn after the death of his father. In the comics, the character later becomes Black Cat, a thief who is essentially Marvel's answer to DC's Catwoman. Although she does not take on the mantle of Black Cat in the film, she likely would have gone on to do so in The Amazing Spider-Man 3, which never came to be.
The massive success of Spider-Man: No Way Home certainly has proven that the Spider-Man multiverse still has legs. While it seems unlikely that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 would ever get made, it's probably even more unlikely that Felicity Jones would return if it did.
