Amber Heard broke down over the impact of the Johnny Depp trial as she returned to the stand.
The Aquaman actress offered testimony as a rebuttal witness on day 22 of the case, which is being heard at the Fairfax County Courthouse.
When her lawyer, Ben Rottenborn, asked how she had ‘suffered publicly’ as a result of the statements, the 36-year-old’s voice cracked as she told the jury: ‘I am harassed, humiliated, threatened, every single day. Even just walking into this courtroom. ‘People want to kill me and they tell me so every single day. People want to put my baby in the microwave, and they tell me that.’Heard said that she has to ‘relieve the trauma’ every single day, and she ‘wakes up screaming’.
‘I am not sitting in this courtroom snickering. I’m not sitting in this courtroom laughing, smiling, making snide jokes. I’m not.‘This is horrible. This is painful. And this is humiliating for any human being to go through.‘It has been agonizing, painful, and the most humiliating thing I have ever had to go through,’ she told the court.
