America's Got Talent star and Tyler Perry collaborator Zuri Craig has died at the age of 44, his family has confirmed.
The post, which was uploaded to Zuri's ZoReMi Entertainment account, was captioned: ‘Please keep our family and friends in your prayers. More info forthcoming… #RIPZuriCraig.’The singer appeared on AGT back in 2015 with his singing partner Jeffrey Lewis – with their rendition of James Brown's This Is A Man's World stunning the judges and moving them into the next round.
Despite being strong contenders and becoming grand finalists - performing with Yolanda Adams and the Harlem Gospel Choir in live final – the pair placed fifth overall. Instagram Zuri was also due to begin a live production, Soul Food Live, next month in Atlanta. In his final Instagram post, Zuri shared a photo of himself among the cast of the play, urging fans to "get your tix now!"
