The family of an American man killed this week in a Russian attack on the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv said Saturday that he had returned to the country to secure treatment for his longtime life partner
“He said, ‘I don’t know what I would do if I lost her, I have to try to do everything I can to try to stop the progression of MS,’” Katya said. “My brother sacrificed his life for her.”
