Americans’ approval of Congress is at its lowest all year, according to a poll

The new figure is “well below” the 2021 high of 36% but average for the period since 2010, according to Gallup’s analysis.that found approval of President Biden was at a steady 42% after a “sharp decline” in September.Gallup attributed the dip to the ongoing disagreement between Democrats over Biden’s signature spending bill.

Republicans and independents have even lower approval ratings for Congress, with a paltry 5% and 22%, respectively.
