While McHappy Day is on Saturday, November 18, today marks the start of the month-long initiative McHappy Time – and Amy couldn’t be happier to be on board to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities .“If more people knew about what this charity does, I think the whole world would be an ambassador,” she says.In 2023, McDonald’s have called on a collective group of local stars to help spread the word.
“It was amazing,” Amy said of visiting 7-year-old Oliver Jepsen, who is currently being treated for brain cancer. “I think I’m not one of these artists that’s like, ‘Oh, awards are overrated.’ I love awards. I think it’s a really beautiful time in our year, our calendar. So I’m stoked every time and it’s so nice to know that people still like what I’m doing, I guess.”. While she says goodbye to judges Harry Connick Jr. and Meghan Trainor, a familiar face returns to the panel beside herself and Kyle Sandilands: the one and only“I miss Meghan and Harry.
“I kind of have to break you down and you’ve got to get to know me, and I’ve got to win you over in time.”returns in 2024 but for now Amy will be supporting MyHappy Time and McHappy Day, one Big Mac at a time.
