The rideshare giant has released its seventh annual lost and found index with data revealing Brisbane was the most organised Australian city in the past year, as its customers left behind the fewest items.
Sydney was right towards the other extreme but it wasn't quite as bad as Perth, which topped the list for the second year in a row as Australia's most forgetful.Uber decided a girl's number on a piece of paper "who might be the love of my life" was the most unique item left behind in a rideshare car this year.
"From a Harry Styles concert ticket to a taxidermied cat, Aussies have really outdone themselves when it comes to forgetfulness this year," the head of rider operations at Uber Australia and New Zealand, Hoa Nguyen, said. "The important thing to remember is that we do have a process if you suddenly realise you've left your phone, wallet or Harry Potter wand in your driver's car, head to the app for help and follow the prompts to retrieve your items.
The company listed what it judged to be the 25 most unique items that were lost in its drivers' cars over the past year:
