The Scottish Labour leader will make a speech in the Glasgow Pollok constituency represented by the new First Minister

Anas Sarwar has accused the SNP of covering up "the truth about their party" ahead of a campaign event in Humza Yousaf's Glasgow constituency.

Sarwar will use a speech to claim his party is ready to fight the next general election and that Scotland is being failed by "two bad governments". Sarwar is expected to say: "As they turn inwards and fight among themselves, the SNP have completely forgotten what matters. "And just like they covered-up the truth about their own party, they tried to cover-up their failings in office which have weakened every single institution in Scotland over the past 16 years.
