NSW Premier Chris Minns warned the state could be facing a “horror summer period” and asked Australians living in New South Wales to be prepared. “Here we go again – the media full of horror stories about catastrophic fire conditions,” Mr Bolt said. “Australia seems to be a land filled with people who are stuffed with earth-worshipping, climate zeal when what we really need is firefighters and dam builders. “That’s what we really need – less voodoo and more can-do.”
