Premier Daniel Andrews has refused to answer questions about evidence given by his Health Minister Jenny Mikakos at the hotel quarantine inquiry on Thursday. Ms Mikakos told the inquiry she was not aware who decided to use private security guards to secure the quarantine program, stating she was “not at all” involved in the decision making process.
Asked whether he was satisfied with her level of doubt, Mr Andrews said “it is not for me to draw those conclusions today. Those matters and many other matters will be matters that the chair of the inquiry could possibly make findings on”. "That is a matter for her,” he said. "I don't believe it is appropriate for me to attempt to make findings.
